Last chance to tie the Tripleknot

If you’re ready to move, our last home is unlocked and loaded…

It seems like only yesterday that Arrowood Development launched its first exquisite pair of Tripleknot townhomes along the 11th fairway at Tetherow Golf Club. Now, 53 happy homeowners and 14 COBA Tour of Homes awards later, Tripleknot’s final home is finished and priced to sell. And like the vivid sunsets that hang delicately over the snow-capped peaks, it won’t be long until it fades away forever.

A floor plan that highlights stunning Cascade views is only part of the appeal of this spacious creation. It offers a contemporary farmhouse design spread over 4,170 square feet of contemporary elegance, featuring:

  • 4 bedrooms and 4.5 baths, including a spectacular master suite upstairs and a guest master suite downstairs.
  • A gourmet kitchen flowing into an inviting great room with a fireplace.
  • An upstairs office/den and a downstairs media/rec room with a fireplace.
  • A covered patio downstairs and a large balcony upstairs, perfect for watching the evening twilight turn into a canvas for shooting stars.

On top of that, Tripleknot offers a relaxed maintenance-free lifestyle, which provides ample time for enjoying Tetherow’s wealth of community attractions:

  • The award-winning golf course, community swimming pool and recreation center.
  • Extraordinary dining at Solomon’s, The Row and Tetherow Cafe.
  • Mountain biking at Phil’s Trailhead adjacent to the community.
  • Fly-fishing and paddling on the nearby Deschutes River.
  • The Northwest’s finest Alpine and Nordic skiing at Mt. Bachelor and Meissner Sno-Park.

Another great ski season is almost here. So what are you waiting for? With this fully loaded layout priced at $1,060,000, you’d better lock it up soon.

Come See One Of The Most Spectacular Homes On The Tour.

COBA Tour of Homes 2019
Only three days until #229 at Tartan Druim is finished and ready for the Tour of Homes.

(And four that aren’t.)
COBA Tour of Homes
July 12-14 and July 19-21, 2019

If you’re in the market for a home in Bend or just enjoy checking out the cream of the crop from the area’s best builders, the Central Oregon Builders Association’s (COBA) Tour of Homes is like Christmas in July. Well, with what’s on the market right now from Arrowood Development, LLC, it’s like Christmas, New Year’s and a couple more holidays thrown in for good measure.

First for your consideration is our newly completed home (#229) at Tartan Druim, the gated collection of single-family homes perched high on a ridge in Tetherow. Overlooking “Kidd’s Corner” on the Tetherow Golf Course, this home features:

  • 3,480 square feet of space on a ½-acre homesite.
  • Three bedrooms and three-and-a-half baths.
  • A den and a three-car garage.
  • Amazing views of the Tetherow Golf Course and beyond to Paulina Peak.
  • Tartan Place, the neighborhood community center right across the street, featuring a community event kitchen, firepit, barbecue and three acres of lawn for outdoor games.

After last year’s Tartan Druim entry on the Tour won Best Value in its category, #229 gives Arrowood another strong contender for the fourth year in a row. It should definitely be at the top of your list to visit.

Get off the beaten Tour.

While you’re in the neighborhood, why not take a look at #232 just three doors down. It offers the same “Mountain Modern” style with more traditional touches. And of course, it also provides Tartan Druim’s endless array of outdoor activities, including:

  • Golf, swimming and incredible dining at Tetherow, Conde’ Nast Traveler’s #1-rated Resort in Oregon.
  • Easy access to all of Bend’s year-round recreation along Century Drive.
  • Downtown and the Old Mill District just three roundabouts away.

Arrowood also has two more intriguing options in Tetherow that aren’t on the Tour this year – our final pair of townhomes at Tripleknot. After winning an impressive 14 Tour of Homes awards over a four-year period, Tripleknot’s dazzling duo presents spectacular views of the Cascades and Tetherow’s 11th hole. One home is finished and ready to welcome you. The other will be completed later this summer. Both offer reverse-living floor plans flowing over 4,150 square feet of contemporary elegance priced to sell at $1,187,750.

If you like the idea of an Arrowood townhome in a smaller size, we have a wonderful opportunity available at Milepost 1, a rustically elegant neighborhood at the Seventh Mountain Resort. Our offfering here features a two-story floorplan with 2,862 square feet. The Deschutes River Trail, Widgi Creek Golf Course and countless other recreational amenities can be right outside your door, all starting for $719,750.

There’s never been a better time to find your way to an Arrowood home. So grab your Tour of Homes map and take a few little side trips this weekend.

The finish line at Tripleknot Townhomes is within sight. You can count on one hand the number of remaining homes at this spectacular Tetherow neighborhood by Arrowood Development, LLC. Yet between them, they offer a variety of floor plans and a plethora of amenities.

Number 28 is a two-story plan offering almost 3,000 square feet of space with 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths. It showcases majestic Cascade views and can be personalized with your choice of finishes.

We chose a lifestyle change from a place that many people would envy to call home. We lived in San Diego for nearly 16 years and loved it, but the allure of the natural environment, clean living and overall coolness of Bend had us discussing the move for years.

I found the Tripleknot community while staying at the Tetherow lodge a few times for work. The attractiveness of having a yard with no maintenance was a must for us. A home that’s secure, energy efficient and easy to leave while out traveling were all great points as well. We ended up choosing a plan that accommodates us perfectly. The homes are extremely spacious and while slightly smaller than our last home, we find ourselves using the entire space much more efficiently.

The builder had time to let us customize the kitchen from the appliances we wanted to the selection of modern tiles, counters and flooring. The builder has an onsite designer and a staff to accommodate all the requests and streamline the process. This is not something we were accustomed to in Southern California.

The house is perfect. Our favorite part is the custom whirlpool tub the builder set in one of the bathrooms. The kitchen a close second with dual sinks and all the conveniences as we love to cook.

“Resort living” may sound somewhat cliché, but really does ring true at Tetherow. The convenience of having two restaurants and a hotel on the property to relax in after a long day at work or travel makes you feel like you’re on vacation. The fact that you can ride a mountain bike out of the garage and don’t need to strap it to your truck to find world-class trails is a huge plus. We’re loving Bend more and more each day.

The extraordinary location on the 11th fairway at Tetherow, the vistas and the membership facilities, were the primary reasons we chose to purchase our townhome at Tripleknot. To be able to close the door and not worry about security or garden maintenance during our seasonal absence in the Netherlands were additional incentives.

When we had about ten days to determine our interior design changes, Femke van Velzen of Arrowood Development was extremely well prepared. Her European details appealed to us and we were able to discuss and arrange things successfully via e-mail.

We are so pleased with our move within Bend. The neighborhood, while still developing, has already added to our social life with new friends in the immediate vicinity. Beyond offering a superior golfing experience, Tetherow’s amenities have added a great new dimension to our social activities. The Row is a great place to drop in and share a libation and get a bite to eat, all in the harmony of those enjoying a pub lifestyle. The views at any time of the day always enhance the experience.

We chose Tripleknot Townhomes at Tetherow for a number of reasons. Having lived a mile away for 12 years, we were familiar with the development. We wanted a southwest Bend location, a townhome and a view. All of the requirements were checked off with Tripleknot.

The townhome/resort purchase makes our life easier. No raking, snow shoveling and maintenance. Twenty minutes from the mountain for skiing and five minutes into town.

As we were looking to simplify and downsize, the floor plan choice was easy. Probably the most daunting process in buying our townhome was the overwhelming choices in finishes for the interior. Fortunately, we had ample time and an expert who could cry ‘oh no’ if we made an error. Picking from scratch was like fixing a recipe with lots of ingredients that we had never tried before. When we saw the final product it was a combination of relief and satisfaction.

A good part of our decision to buy was the way the townhomes were built. We love the rough cedar siding and metal roof details on the exterior. Inside, exposed beams and beautiful wood compliment the natural environment outside.

Certainly the Tetherow restaurant and pub provide a great focal point for the resort lifestyle. We think that once the pool and fitness center are completed, it will really make it seem like we’re living the dream in a beautiful resort.

I am planning for retirement, and wanted a carefree home in a beautiful community. I wanted a contemporary-style mountain home, with primary living on the main floor. Tripleknot gave me all of it!

I like the spaciousness of all the rooms, the open layout and master suite on the main level. The high ceilings and expansive windows bring the outside in, and the view is incredible.

Tripleknot gives you the pleasure of living in this beautiful community in a townhome with a maintenance-free lifestyle. Looking forward 10 years, I won’t want to worry about house or lawn maintenance as I age.

Can Tripleknot make it a Fab Four?

After four years of construction and three years on the annual COBA Tour of Homes, you might think that one more Tripleknot Townhome on the Tour is no big deal. But with our new model home all dressed up and ready to show off its incredible mountain views, we have a strong feeling that Tripleknot’s fourth time on the Tour will be as fabulous as ever.

In 2012, we took home awards for Best Architectural Design, Best Master Suite and Best of Show in the $550,000-$700,000 category. In 2014, we struck gold again with Best Architectural Design, Best Kitchen and Best of Show in the $575,000-$650,000 category. And last year, we had our best haul ever, collecting awards for Best Feature, Best Kitchen, Best Interior Finish and Best of Show in the $525,000-$600,000 category.

The new two-story model home will move us up to the even more competitive $725,000-$800,000 category. So impressing the COBA judges this year could easily be the greatest achievement yet for architect John Muir and the team at Arrowood Development.

But what makes Tripleknot even more impressive to homebuyers is being located in the resort community of Tetherow, where residents are celebrating the opening of a brand new outdoor heated pool and hot tub. In addition to offering a place for residents and lodges to refresh and relax, the surrounding deck will feature five cabanas, fire pits, a food cart and grassy areas. It’s all part of a complete community recreation center that’s due to open next year.

Of course, at Tripleknot, that’s just the beginning of the recreational opportunities. You’re right next door to Phil’s Trailhead and some of the Northwest’s best mountain biking. Paddling or fly-fishing the Deschutes River is just 10 minutes away. The slopes of Mt. Bachelor and trails of the Cascades are an easy 20-minute drive up Century Drive. And for more civilized pursuits, you’re only three roundabouts from Bend’s multitude of restaurants, brew pubs and nightlife.
